Not Very Durable : Sofa by Ashley - Black Faux Leather (6450038)
I bought this couch a miniature over a year ago. For the most part it's fairly comfortable and has served it's purpose however, for durability, I would not propose it. If you have kids and/or pets this is absolutely not the couch for you. The faux leather is prone to scratches and, once a scratch opens up to a small tear it swiftly grows, leaving this ugly grey material showing. Unfortunately you cannot flip the cushions in order to help preclude wear on one side because the lowest of the cushions have a velcro strip to help keep them in place (which does not work very well either). If you had the ability to flip the cushions you could probably make this couch last longer but, without that, I wouldn't expect to have it nearby in good health for too long.
Another reviewer also mentioned something about the smell. I didn't consideration the smell when I got it and I don't consideration it when I'm sitting on it watching Tv or reading. Any way I have noticed that, if I fall asleep on the couch, it makes you sweat and then there is this weird smell that gets into your clothes. And no, I'm not talking about a typical "sweaty" smell. It's some kind of chemical smell. It's obviously from the coating that they put on the couch. Just something to be aware of.
If you have no kids or pets that would be on the furniture this may not be too bad of a selection but if you need something for endurance this is absolutely not the right couch to have.
